Fazenda Minamihara Organic

Fazenda Minamihara was established by a Japanese family that immigrated to Brazil for coffee cultivation. Starting in the state of Parana, they moved to Cristais Paulista municipality of São Paulo state in 1973 for more favourable growing conditions. The farm prioritizes high-quality coffee production, investing in new technology and sustainable growing and farming practices. The shade of the avocado trees and the well-balanced soil on the farm contribute to complexity in the final cup. Producers also avoid toxic chemicals, using only biological treatment which helps to maintain land integrity, and enhance coffee quality. Fazenda Minamihara cultivates over 95 hectares with Mundo Novo, Red and Yellow Catuaí, Obatã, Bourbon Amarelo, and Tupi varieties.
